The Skilful Art of Rejection

Updated: Aug 28, 2022

with its subtle sting of victory...

If the act of rejection doesn't come naturally to you, practice.....

Kim Leutwyler "Namaste Hands"

"Chan's primary piece of advice is 'Tell the truth.' Don't procrastinate or dissimulate. Don't get angry at them for being more interested in you than you are in them. Try to tell people what you (don't) want clearly, slowly, and stick around long enough to be sure they got the message."― Sex educator Karen B.K. Chan on "How to turn people down directly and why it's important"

CERTAIN ANNOYING PEOPLE CONTINUOUSLY make a big song and dance as loud as they can for as long as they can to anyone who might listen and maybe even take them seriously.

Saying they rejected me (!)

This is their boring, lying theme song and it goes on and on and on ad nauseum ad infinitum: their never-ending story...

Rejected me from what exactly, I'm not sure, they've never informed me of that exciting little fact.

Remember this

my mind, heart, body, and soul had rejected them long, long ago.

And in their heart of hearts, they knew this. Unequivocally they knew.

This was because I'd also said it to them.

You know verbally. Out loud.

So then they made up another story, saying I lost something. A war, or maybe a trinket? But I don't identify with defeat, I don't play The Game, and I can't find anything missing.

So what was that, and how do they know?

They then jump up and down, having babyish tantrums. They pout and screech, saying they've rejected me back, but this is all rubbish they've made up in order to save face.

These people are from a cult I didn't realise at first was a cult. But I'd awakened to their irksome, harassing and obsessive ways fairly early on.

They tell these destructive lies over and over. To me, to themselves and to all in the world naïve enough to believe 'em.

I'm not really keen to wear any crown,

but I AM here

to set the story straight.

“For wordsmiths and masters of words, without necessarily being harsh with words, the words have a tendency to shoot straight to the hearts of people, and this either deeply touches them or deeply angers them. Like the apostles in all their loving controversies are those who are masters of words while combining this gift with truth.”Criss Jami, Killosophy

"... and then the lyric 'I'm heading straight for the castle" is when she's going to attack Whitefire Palace with the scarlet guard'....." Sxr Mango online comment about this clip: 'Halsey Castle'. As always, take what resonates and leave the rest behind...
