Nobody really knows where we’ve come from,
what we’ve been through + what we’ve survived.
They’ve been through their own hardships + their own personal wars,
but when our eyes meet, we know…
Yes some may unknowingly be friends with those
who tried to harm or destroy us.
But because they weren’t there at the beginning of that time,
they’re unaware of the very real battles
+ terrible suffering inflicted on our world.
How could they know?
How could they even begin to guess what really went down?
But all we can say + hope they hear the truth, is this:
“We were here from before the beginning of time.
There WAS no enemy when we first were here.”
