The process of Creation continues. Consciousness moves to the edge of its known world (anywhere on the edge of the sphere, the only “thing” in existence) and projects itself outward — in a perfect reflection of itself — creating two interlocking spheres. Unity becomes Duality. In the symbolic language of Sacred Geometry, the Vesica Piscis holds profound importance, as it represents the truth of Duality created from Unity in one single act of the Creator. There are few figures, which carry so much meaning as the Vesica Piscis. It was the central diagram for Christian mysticism in the Middle Ages, and symbolically joins together Creator and Creation, above and below, masculine and feminine Godhead, Heaven and Earth*, and is sometimes considered the first Trinity – the Three that are Two.
